Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (aka Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome or AIDS) is a serious Illness plaguing the world, the United States of America included. AIDS itself doesn’t spread from one person to another, but the HIV virus (HIV stands for Human Immunodeficiency Virus) does. When a person acquires HIV from another person, the HIV virus eventually contributes to AIDS (usually).

    HIV

HIV is a sexually transmitted disease, meaning it is given from one person to another person during any kind of sexual intercourse. However, AIDS may also be transferred in different ways. For instance, if individuals use dirty needles to inject themselves with something those needles might have the HIV virus. Or, if a person injects another individual with a physical fluid, namely blood, including HIV, then the injected person can obtain HIV.

    AIDS

HIV leads to AIDS, and AIDS is truly traumatic diseases. As a close reading of the complete type of AIDS shows, AIDS is a disease where the HIV virus slowly weakens a person’s immune system. Because the immune system requires a beating against the HIV virus, someone with AIDS gets assaulted by a huge selection of germs and viruses. Even those germs and viruses which usually wouldn’t have caused any problems begin causing problems.

      Are Flu Shots Bad?

Viruses like those that cause the common cold, as an example, may result in severe weakness and even death. Additionally, other germs and viruses may result in serious weight gain, skin rashes, respiratory problems, and a host of other issues. Currently, there’s absolutely no cure to AIDS. People with the HIV virus are stuck with it for life. There are several medications, however, that help fight HIV and AIDS.

People with AIDS usually have to have a lot medication to fight the disease because the disease contributes to so many different viruses and drugs attacking the human body. Aside from the psychological costs and psychological expenses, the health care costs of doctor’s visits, medical care, and prescription medication is massive. As stated previously, HIV can spread in many of ways.

    Final note

Besides intercourse and needles, HIV can spread through breast milk from mother to child at birth. Usually, transmission of HIV isn’t intentional. Sometimes, however some people decide to spread it blatantly. They may know they have HIV or AIDS and and still decide to engage in sexual intercourse without notifying their partner. Orthey may intentionally inject others with infected needles or needles containing fluid which has the HIV virus.
