Headaches are one the most common conditions. They can be mild and barely noticeable annoyances or severe, crippling pain like vomiting, tunnel vision, or other unpleasant symptoms that can make your legs ache. Every person is different and suffers from different symptoms. There are many headache treatments, “cures”, and remedies available. It is important to find the right one for you and your particular environment (home, office, etc.). Because what works for one person may not work for another.
Pay Attention
It is worth paying attention to the causes of headaches if you are prone to them. Certain foods, smells, and weather changes can cause headaches or make you more prone to them. If you notice a pattern, avoid headache triggers. Sometimes a headache can surprise you. It’s a good idea to have several options.
Rebound headaches can also be caused by using this medication as a crutch. Taking too much medication can cause rebound headaches which can sometimes be more severe than the original headache.
Natural Therapy
Hot/cold therapy, aromatherapy with lavender and eucalyptus can help relieve your headaches. These therapies should be used at home as it is difficult to use cold and hot compresses in the office. You also don’t want your colleagues to be offended by aromatherapy.
You can also get a prescription from your doctor to treat your headache. However, be aware that some medications can have severe side effects and can cause discomfort. Don’t despair if nothing works and you are stuck at home with no plans or leave of absence from work.
