What is Candida Infection? Candida albicans is a common form of yeast infection. This fungus can be found on the skin and in the vagina of most healthy women. This fungus is attracted to the acidic environment of the vagina. However, it becomes more common when the level of citrus drops due to a variety of factors such as menstruation, use of antibiotics, steroids, diabetes, and other factors.
The fungus can then multiply and cause a genital infection. Poor personal hygiene can also be a cause of vaginal candida infections. Although it is not usually a serious condition, it can be very uncomfortable. Approximately 75% of women who have yeast infection have had it happen at least once in their lives. Although it is a minor problem that can usually be treated in a few days for most women, some women have been known to suffer from this fungus for many years.
It has been observed that women who have had vaginal candida for a long time have not sought medical attention or tried any home remedies to eliminate the fungus. Apple Cider Vinegar is one of the best home remedies for yeast infections.
What To Do?
Mix 1 and 1/2 cups of Apple Cider Vinegar into a tub filled with lukewarm water. After that, soak in the solution for approximately twenty minutes. For the first three days, this should be done only once per day. After three days of soaking, the infection should be significantly reduced. Now you can make a mixture of 1 1/2 cups of water and 2 tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar.
This mixture can be used as a vaginal douche for approximately five days, twice daily. It is normal to feel a slight sting when you first apply the mixture internally. After a few days, you can start to drink a glass of water with one teaspoon of Apple Cider Vinegar every day. This will not only reduce candida albicans but also improve your skin and metabolism.
