    Hemorrhoids (or Piles) are masses made up of widening veins in the rectum wall and tissues at the anus opening. They are varicose veins that are swollen or dilate and located within the anus (internal bleeding) or around its outer surface (external hemorhoids).

    Internal hemorhoids

    Theseare usually seen at the end or middle of bowel movements. The following can cause hemorhoids: Straining during a stool movement, pressure on the anus and rectum veins. Recurrent constipation (difficult bowel movements). Itching, burning, or pain are all symptoms of hemorhoids.

    External hemorhoids

    These can cause tender swelling or a hard lump around your anus. This is caused by a blood clot. Constipation and excessive wiping can make symptoms worse. Aloe Vera gel can be applied directly to the anus. This will relieve pain and soothe the burning sensation.

    Treatment

    • To relieve hemorhoids pain, you can use Bayberry, goldensealroot, myrrh and white oak in a salve.
    • To reduce swelling, apply Witch hazel to the affected area with a sterilized cotton pad. This is another home remedy for hemorhoids.
    • Mix one teaspoonful of Flowers of Sulfur and one tablespoonful of Vaseline.
    • Soak three to four figs in a glass water. Leave the figs in the water overnight, and then eat the figs the next morning with an empty stomach.
    • Roast 1 teaspoon of black cumin seeds, and then mix it with 1 teaspoon of unroasted black cumin seed. Take half a teaspoon of this powder and mix it with one glass of water once a day. This is a great Home Remedies for Hemorrhoids.
    • Mango seeds can be used as a home remedy for hemorhoids. Mango seeds can be harvested during mango season and dried in the shade. Once dried, they can be powdered and stored for future use.
    • White radish can be used to treat piles. 100 mg of grated red radish may be combined with a teaspoon honey. You can also drink 60 to 90 ml of this vegetable’s juice with a pinch salt, in both morning and evening. For pain relief, you can also apply white radish paste in milk to inflamed pile masses. This is a home remedy for hemorhoids.
    • Take a cup of milk, boiled with a mashed banana, thrice daily.
    • Take one teaspoon of lemon juice, one teaspoon mint leaf juice, and one tablespoon honey daily.
    • 3 times daily, take 1 tablespoon of coriander juice (green leaf) with 1 teaspoon of sugar. To reduce pain, mix cumin seeds powder and water. This home remedy is also helpful for hemorhoids.
