Such deficiency could result from host of factors such as poor diet, air pollution, and incorrect process of breathing and lack of exercise. The lack of sufficient oxygen in our cells weakens our immune system. Obviously, oxygen is one of the most crucial elements required for sustaining life on Earth.

In the absence of oxygen, our bodies begin to suffer or we perish. In case of lack of oxygen, the metabolism doesn’t happen in the appropriate way leading to weak or unhealthy cells. Because of this, we lose our natural immunity and become vulnerable to viruses and a number of diseases.


However, we could opt for oxygen supplements for treatment of lack of oxygen or else we have to undergo oxygen therapy. On the other hand, the non-metallic element can also be instrumental in destroying the harmful bacteria while leaving the beneficial bacteria totally unharmed. No medication can accomplish such a feat. For leading a fuller life, we will need to exercise and follow a diet that’s full of nutrients.

However, it’s not the case so far as our contemporary life is concerned. We a lead a sedentary life that’s aggravated by depleted oxygen levels in the air. The situation demands we inhale more of the highly reactive element to manage the pressures of modern life. There are many stresses on bodies caused by the nature of contemporary life.
