- Garlic. Garlic has antiviral, antibacterial and inexpensive ways to treat sinus infections. To relieve your sinus infection, take two cloves of garlic thrice daily for a week. Garlic can cause bad breath. To reduce this, you can combine it with tarragon and parsley. Garlic can also be used as a sandwich spread.
