You are not the only one looking for natural migraine relief. Research into migraines is increasing as more people suffer from it. Finding a cure for migraine is difficult because it can be caused by many different things and each person’s experience with migraine is unique. Although there are some commercially available medicines, they are not always effective and should not be used for long periods of time.
As I mentioned, natural migraine remedies are becoming more popular. Here are some of my favorites. The apple cedar vinegar solution has been shown to be effective in curing migraines. This is a simple solution that is easy to make, and not as bad tasting than you might think. Mix 1 teaspoon of apple cider and 1 teaspoon vinegar in a large glass water. In no time, your migraine will disappear.
Dehydration can also trigger migraine headaches. The best natural remedy for migraine is to stay hydrated. Drink lots of water and eat fruit – remember to have 5 glasses a day! – because it is rich in antioxidants that are great for your overall health. Although it may seem counterintuitive, coffee can be very effective in relieving migraines when taken in small doses.
Although the high caffeine content of coffee is effective in reducing migraine symptoms, it should not be taken in excess. Too much caffeine can cause hyperactivity, increase heart rate and dehydration. You can lie down in a darkened room. Migraine headaches are often caused by stress. It is possible to get rid of the stress and rigour from everyday life by getting into a dark, cool room. Apply an ice compress to your forehead for additional relief.
My favorite natural remedy for migraines is to go outside and take a walk. You will feel more clear and get exercise, which is always good for your health. It is one of my favorite ways to relax. If you have a dog, why not take him for a walk? It is one of my favorite ways to relax and de-stress.
