Kidney stones can form in the kidneys and can last for years without causing symptoms. They can cause problems for people only when they are removed from the kidney. If they are small enough to not block the tubes or cause damage with movement or eventual flushing, there may be a grit-like substance in the urine.

Others may feel a dull, nondescript pain in the lower back that can last several days. They may also feel fatigued or have a feeling like they are turning yellow. • Check your urine for blood or discoloration. A deep orange color could be an indication of dehydration. However, you might see blood in your urine. * Feeling sick to your stomach or nausea, and sometimes vomiting.
• Having a fever. A fever that is not associated with symptoms of a kidney infection may be a sign of a serious condition. You should seek emergency medical attention immediately.
• Feeling disorientated, fatigued, and exhaustion. People who are suffering from this condition may feel restless and have trouble settling down.
• Walking becomes difficult and almost impossible. These symptoms can be so severe that you may need to see a doctor immediately.
