This is a simple remedy that may seem a little crazy. It is said that what you feel, disappears. The following exercise may help you get rid of your headache. Do you really want to get rid your headache? Although it may seem silly, many people will continue to suffer from headaches. They are great excuses to avoid dealing with other things. Pay attention to your headache.
Pay Attention
Does it pound in one eye, throb when you bend down, or do you feel a dull ache at your neck? Close your eyes and ask someone to read the next questions. What is the size and shape of your headache? Imagine the exact dimensions of your headache. Measure from your forehead to the back of the head, from your neck to the top of the neck. What color is your headache?
How much water is your headache capable of holding? Visually fill a cup with enough water to cover the headache area. Then, pour the water from the cup into your headache. Once you have done that, open your eyes and you should feel relief from your headache. This exercise has worked for me and I was pleasantly surprised.
Two Suggestions
Dip a large cloth into vinegar, wring out the cloth and tie it tightly around your forehead until the headache goes away. Take the lemon’s rind and cut it into pieces. Rub the rind on your temples and forehead. Secure the rinds to your forehead and temples with a scarf or bandage. Keep the rinds in place until the headache passes, which is usually less than half an hour. For 4 to 5 minutes, press your thumb against the roof.
Every so often, move your thumb to another part of the roof. Your head should feel much more relaxed. A traditional American remedy is to take 1/2 teaspoon of honey and 1/2 teaspoon of garlic juice. Salicylates are found in strawberries, which are similar to active ingredients in aspirin.
Thumbs up!
Two minutes total, rub the thumbs at the second joint for about 10 minutes. To eliminate friction, use hand lotion. Slowly have someone move their thumb down your right side, along with your shoulder blade, and towards your waist. For a minute, let him apply steady pressure to the tender spot. This should relieve your headache.
