Are There Ayurvedic Treatments For Acne?

Acne is the most common health problem in adolescents. Pimples are a result of hormonal changes and subsequent blood impurities. This is a sign that someone is suffering from acne. Most people will experience pimples at some point in their lives. Pimples usually disappear within a few days. However, if the person doesn’t take enough care, they could leave behind a permanent scar.

Did you know?

Pimples can quickly spread to the skin, especially if they burst or their fluids come into contact with healthy skin. Although we think of acne mostly as affecting the face, it can also affect the neck, chest, and back. Unfortunately, many young people have disappointed themselves by using the available acne medications on the market. There are many natural ways to prevent acne. Here are some of the best ways to combat acne.

Buttermilk can be used to wash your face several times per day. This will reduce pimples and make your skin shinier and more healthy. One seed of an Indian Plum jambula (or jambula) is all you need. Place the seed in water and thoroughly rub it until it becomes moistened. Once the seed has soaked in water, rub it on any pimples. This is especially helpful for pimples in adolescence. Simply rub the orange peel on the pimples to moisten their skin. This simple treatment can be repeated several times per day to reduce or even eliminate acne.

Try this!

Take a ripe pumpkin. Mash the pumpkin and rub it on your face for a while. It should be left on the skin for 15 to 20 minutes. The skin will begin to dry up and stretch. You will need to wash your face and then dry it. Apply the oil of mustard or coconut to the face. This should be done for a week, on a daily basis.

The problem with acne will disappear and your skin will become smoother. In a bowl, combine ten grams powder of chana (Cicerarietinum, Chana) with ten grams haldi, (Curcumalonga, Turmeric) in curds. Apply the paste to the skin. It is best to wash it off once it dries. For a week, continue this treatment. The acne will disappear.

Make a paste by mixing the powders of lodhra, coriander, and vacha in water. This paste should be applied to the face on a daily basis. This will reduce the appearance of acne and make your skin look younger. In equal parts, roast some mustard seeds, chiraunji (Buchanania latiflora) and a dry peel of orange. Then grind them into a fine powder. Add a little water to make it pasty. This paste should be applied to the face daily. This will resolve your acne problems.

Take note

  • Use a nutmeg and water of red sandalwood. Mash the nutmeg in the water of red sandalwood. This water will treat all pimples and keep your skin soft and lustrous. Put the root of the neem tree in water. Use your fingers to repeatedly squeeze the neem roots in the water. Once the root is sufficiently moistened and the juices are beginning to come out of it, you can take the root out and rub it onto the pimples like a piece chalk. This is the fastest way to relieve pimples.
  • Another simple, but effective, remedy is to make an infusion of the leaves from the tulsi (Ocimum Sanctum, Holy Basil) that you apply regularly to your face. Make the infusion by combining two to four teaspoons of dried basil leaves with a cupful water. Once it has boiled, cool it down. Add turmeric powder and the tulsi leaves to a cup of boiling water. As if you were taking a steam bath, let the solution’s fumes touch your face. Wash your face immediately after the treatment is complete. This will open your sweat pores. You should wash it immediately to remove the dirt and dust that causes acne.

Conclusion

This is a preventative measure, not a treatment. Kumkumadi Lepam is recommended for use on the face by Ayurveda. Make sure to wash your face well before applying the paste. Saribadyasava can also be taken internally in 15-30 milliliters. This is combined with equal amounts of water.
