    Cluster Headaches

Cluster headaches are characterized by a sudden, excruciating pain that usually occurs at night. The pain is usually felt behind the eyes and may be accompanied with nausea. The nose of the sufferer may feel blocked and runny, and their eyes may begin to water from the side. This type of headache is more common in men than in women. It’s not clear what causes them, but smokers and people who drink heavily are more likely to get them.

    Tension Headaches

Tension headaches account for 70% of all headaches. 69% of men will experience tension headaches at some time in their lives. The pain of a tension headache can be mild to moderate compared to other types of headaches. It can last anywhere from 30 minutes to up to a week. It is difficult to pinpoint the pain and can feel all over the head, rather than in one area. The neck, shoulders, and top of the head may also feel tight. Tension headaches can be caused by poor posture or prolonged time spent in front of the TV.
